Located at 23 Cedar Street, The Rare Bit offers chef-inspired lunch, brunch and dinner options as well as ice-cold cocktails. Get your fill of authentic British cuisine such as fish and chips, bangers and mash and Scotch eggs.

According to Jessica Klein, who is working with Chef DiBari, The Rare Bit brings something entirely new to the Dobbs Ferry area.

“One of the reasons The Rare Bit is exciting is that it is something new for the surrounding area. ... We don't have a restaurant serving true, full on British cuisine here (well, we didn't). There are the typical dishes such as bangers and mash, Scotch egg, mushy peas, etc. as well as dishes that have Indian influence as one would typically find in London,” Klein told the Daily Voice, adding that John Poiarkoff of Armonk’s Restaurant North is cheffing the establishment.

The Rare Bit has different hours for brunch, lunch and dinner:

  • Lunch: Friday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Dinner: Tuesday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Brunch: Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
